The ultimate party dress in sheer black viscose with jewel-like metallic spots woven in rainbow tones. This is a pretty, pull on V-neck design with soft sleeves that have a gentle, high split on the side which elongates the arm. The dress comes with a soft, black, spaghetti strap, jersey slip that can be removed so you can layer this piece over jeans or pants. The waist has a casing and tie that allows you to draw the dress in or let it out for comfort and sport a different silhouette. The design has pockets. Dress this piece up with sparkly earrings and heels or take a more relaxed look with leather sandals.

Material

Main: 80% Viscose 20% Metallic

Slip: 95% ECOVERO™ Viscose 5% Elastane

This patterned fabric features a metallic design on a sheer base.

Viscose is a renewable and biodegradable fibre made from cellulose extracted from timber. The fabric used for the slip is a soft, comfortable jersey fabric. It contains a blend of LENZING™ ECOVERO™ Viscose fibres and elastane for a stretch finish.

Maker

This garment was designed in Melbourne by the ELK team and made by Tongxiang Jimmy Fashions in China. Jimmy has worked with us since 2010 making both woven and knitted apparel. Jimmy is actively working with us to make workplace improvements to ensure the factory is safe and compliant.

The factory is signed up to Sedex, and undertakes regular SMETA social compliance audits.

Size and Fit

The fit of this dress is regular with a straight cut through the body. The waist tie assists with the fit and the slip is removable. Check the bust and hip measurements for best fit. We recommend you take your usual size.

All garments are measured flat (not on body) and then doubled (except the length) to calculate the total circumference. To work out what size will suit you best, flat measure an item that fits you well and use this as a guide. Please contact us if you have any questions or need more information.

Care Instructions

• The fabric used for this garment is viscose, made from the natural and renewable cellulose fibres of wood pulp. It has a delicate feel, it is softer than cotton and more springy than silk. Viscose is durable, it breathes well and is lovely to wear. The construction of all viscose fabrics result in unique properties that perform differently to other fabrics and require specific care.
• We recommend cold hand washing in a mild detergent. Only wash when required to reduce water consumption.
• Gently pull the garment back into shape and air dry, either flat or hanging, in the shade. After washing, viscose will appear to have shrunk and will have a coarse hand feel. Don’t worry! Once it is dry, use a warm steam iron on the reverse. The fabric will iron out easily and regain its shape, hand feel and fluidity.
• On the first wash, there may be a small variance in length measurements from 1 to 3cm which our production team take into account in the design.
